Hi my name is Dawn Patten I have been watching dogs for 8 years but I have been working with all animals my whole life.
I did 4H with horses growing up and had 2 dogs, 4 cats, bunnies, goats, chickens and a donkey. I am a hard worker, have always had many jobs to support my self. Now I have a family to support and would like to work one job and be home with the family. I worked at Phillips Exeter Academy for 9 years and have made many connections and have lots of friends who can give recommendations of how well I handle there dogs. They always come back for more.
 
We have a 1800 sq ft house that the dogs have the whole run of. 1.1 acre yard all fenced in with lots to do. The dogs get to play out all day and relax in the house on hot days. Or swim or  wade in the kiddie pools to cool off. 

Here at the Pattens I am the pack leader. I am a calm and assertive person.  We are a family run business.
 
We give your dog the love and attention that you would if they were at home. Daycare is good for those who have high energy dogs. So after a long day at work you come and pick up your tired pup. We watch dogs of all sizes and ages. They all coe live together. 
 
Daycare is also good for those who want a puppy but don't want to keep them in a crate all day. Here at Dawns they learn social skills , how to play and rest in a crate. Puppies need that security to learn to hold there bladder and to be calm in house 

We also do 2 walks a day around the neighborhood. Exercise is more then just running around in the yard. A walk teaches dogs to walk as a pack and focus. We walk at 9:30 am and 2pm depending on the season and we do one mile in the am and 1 mile in the pm.  A dog needs 1 hour a day of exercise no matter the size.
